Farm to Preschool: Growing Healthy Children Starts Early

Farm to Preschool experiences build positive relationships with healthy local food and nature at an early age when tastes and preferences are formed. In this workshop, you will hear from three unique programs each working to bring healthy food experiences through gardening, local food connections and nutrition education- to our youngest children at schools and in childcare settings. You will also learn how to structure and conduct engaging garden and nutrition lessons with preschoolers including innovating with small and indoor garden spaces.
