Serving local beef in school meals is a growing trend nationwide as farm to school programs expand to include the whole plate. Presenters will discuss their beef to school project history, achievements, challenges, model(s), future goals, etc. Special events, donation and purchased models will be discussed. Participants will explore recommendations, what steps they can take to feature local beef at their school, and where to get additional resources including the new Montana Beef to School Case Study report.
